BART's mission is to empower firefighters and other emergency personnel with the training, knowledge and equipment necessary to safely and effectively address the needs of animals encountered in emergency situations, in order to help preserve human health, safety and well being.

State Animal & Ag Emergency Programs Meeting

BART President Janet Olson and Vice President Karina Burger will attend this two-day national conference which has the goal of coordinating animal emergency preparedness efforts between states. It will be a great opportunity to inform other states of the BART program, brainstorm with other organizations and make new contacts. Melissa Czeck, Coordinator of the Minnesota Veterinary Reserve Corps, will also attend.
