Basic Animal Rescue Training thanks Hugh and Julie Thibodeau, a retired couple from Roseville, who donated two animal emergency medical kits and BART training for 45 members of the Roseville Fire Department on November 15th and 16th. The Thibodeau’s were aware that other fire departments were beginning to carry oxygen masks for pets during emergency situations and inquired whether their own community fire department was prepared in this way. Not only did they highlight the fact that this training was available, but they also offered to pay for it as well. The Thibodeau’s donated the training fees, two BART emergency medical kits and other tools necessary to safely handle companion animals in the event of an emergency.
Hugh and Julie have long been proponents of animal health and welfare. They support the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center and also provided Roseville’s police department with the funding necessary to purchase a German Shepherd K9 officer named Tasco.
Once again Hugh and Julie, thanks for your support!!
