The Minnesota Horse Council, a non-profit corporation which encourages and supports equine related activities, concerns and education, has awarded Basic Animal Rescue Training a $3000 grant for 2007. The grant will be used toward equipping, delivering and advertising the new BART equine and large animal class for firefighters and first responders.
The grant was awarded at the Minnesota Horse Council Annual Meeting and Banquet on January 13, 2007. Drs. Janet Olson and Karina Burger attended the banquet to accept the award and thank the members of the Minnesota Horse Council for their support.
