Saturday NOVEMBER 3, 2007
10AM - 2:30PM
U of MN - College of Veterinary Medicine - Pomeroy Center, Room 213
1964 Fitch Ave. (next to the Small Animal Hospital)

We’d like to train more volunteers how to be a small animal course speaker and training leader. These folks deliver the 30-minute PowerPoint presentation at trainings to groups of 20-40 people. This PowerPoint covers BART’s background, introduces the small animal hands on training sessions, and covers the local, state and national emergency planning and response resources for animals. Speakers also lead the interactive quiz at the end. We have a training program to teach you how to give this presentation and Veterinarians and CVTs receive 3 CE credits for becoming certified to teach this material.

Come learn about BART’s expansion plans, both within Minnesota and nationally, and help us achieve them by training in as a Speaker!

Lunch will be served so an RSVP IS REQUIRED (or you will go hungry ˜º)! Please RSVP to Mary.Avriette@BasicAnimalRescueTraining.org by Thursday November 1, 2007. Please let Mary know if you if you have any special food requirements (vegetarian etc). Hope to see you there!

Parking: Will be in the Gortner Ramp. DO NOT PARK in the small animal hospital lot - you will be ticketed and towed. For a great map, see: http://www1.umn.edu/twincities/maps/PomH/PomH-map.html
Parking costs $5.50 and BART will pay it- you will need to BRING YOUR PARKING TICKET TO CLASS.
