August 26, 2011 – State Fair
Published May 21, 2011 6:05 pm · Announcements, Events, General
BART will again be at the state fair this summer, however we are only doing one day vs the entire fair. We will be a part of governor’s fire prevention day which is Friday August 26th. We will need volunteers to man the booth during the day and also volunteers to help set up and tear down our booth. Set up will be either at 5 am or 6:30 am so we will need some people there to help early. We also need about 4 volunteers per shift throughout the day, the shifts will be from 8am-noon, noon-4pm and 4pm-8pm. We will then also need people to help take down our booth. You will receive admission to the fair for volunteering however parking will be on your own. Please let me know ASAP if you are able to help and what times you would be available for. I will be filling the shifts on a first come first serve basis so if you are available for more than one shift please indicate this in your reply. We need to have the list completed by July 15th, let’s not leave this to last minute so the sooner you can get back to me the better. Also let me know if you have any other questions or concerns at this time.
We will not need any pets at our booth.
