Basic Animal Rescue Training is supported by charitable donations and grants and offers classes as well as the small animal BART emergency medical kits free of charge to Fire/EMS departments.

WE NEED YOUR HELP to raise our costs for each training so that we can continue to provide classes and kits. All of our trainers are volunteers in the veterinary profession who donate their time, expertise and energy to deliver a professional program, giving back to Minnesota communities. Help keep your animals safe in emergencies and support our emergency response personnel, many of whom volunteer their time for their communities! Please help us with a tax-deductible contribution. Available sponsorship opportunities include:

Sponsor a Small Animal Class: $1400
Sponsor a Small Animal BART kit: $600
Sponsor a Large Animal Class: $250 if held with Small Animal Class; $450 if held alone.
Sponsor a Large Animal BART kit: To be determined
Sponsor a Community Responder Small Animal Class: $750
Sponsor a Community Responder Large Animal Class: $250
Sponsor a Small Animal Community Responder BART Kit: $100
All contributions are appreciated!

Continued donations are essential for BART to be able to continue its mission and services. Due to BART’s rapid growth, the demand for training is exceeding the funding available. BART is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. To make a donation to BART, make checks payable to BART and send to:

BART’s web store is kindly provided as a donation to BART by Bloomington Custom Embroidery, owned and operated by Steve and Nancy Oberaigner. Steve is a firefighter for the Bloomington Fire Department and contacted us after going through BART training to offer a donation of his embroidery and printing services. He created our new logo and has produced several very sharp items for us to offer for sale. Take a look - net proceeds from the sales of these items will be used to support BART program activities.

Basic Animal Rescue Training thanks all of our donors for their generous contributions. Your support enables us to continue our mission of training first responders and saving lives.
