The Roseville Fire Department trained all (number) of their firefighters and EMS personnel in Basic Animal Rescue Training in November, 2006. The BART-SA course is a two-hour seminar designed to train and equip emergency teams for disasters where companion animals may be involved. This training was provided through the generous donation of Huge and Julie Thibodeau. Not only did it cover the training costs, but it also supplied Roseville fire with two emergency kits filled with rescue gear and other tools necessary to assist animals in rescue situations.
